Peterborough CathedralPeterborough Cathedral
Towering majestically above the city centre stands the third
abbey, founded in 1118, now the Cathedral of St Peter. This
beautiful building keeps guard over the town's bustling city
centre and bears testament to the many fascinating events
which have taken place over the centuries. The cathedral's
west front is breathtaking and the building as a whole is
one the finest examples of Norman architecture in
Europe.
