Household Insurance for Tenants
Loss or damage to the contents of the home caused by fire,
lightning, explosion, impact by aircraft, vehicles, trains, animals
and falling trees, storm, flood, escape of water from tanks or
pipes, theft or attempted theft, malicious damage, riot etc,
subsidence, landslide and much more. The benefits are new for old,
liability for damage to the landlords property up to £2,500.
Accidental damage to your hi-fi, TV, Audio, Video equipment and
personal computers, up to £2000 in any one year. Replacement locks
following theft of keys. Personal Liability of £1,000,000. Cost of
alternative accommodation - 30% of sum insured. Garden contents -
£500. Garage and outbuildings contents - £1000. Frozen food -
£300 and Money - £250.
This policy protects the you if you accidental damage to the
Landlords contents, fixtures and fittings for which you are
responsible as a condition of your tenancy agreement - thereby
helping to protect the deposit you have placed.
Rent guarantees for Landlords.
Most of our customers qualify to receive a free a rent guarantee
policy covering the first 6 months of the tenancy. This policy
includes full legal cover up to £15,000, it pays to the end of the
cover period or vacant possession, the policy may be renewed at the
end of 6 months if required.
Alternatively for Landlords who require total peace of mind, we can
provide a comprehensive policy, that pays up to 12 months arrears of
until vacant possession and pays 60% of the rent for up to 3
month's after possession is obtained whilst a new tenant is found.
This policy also includes full legal cover up to £50,000 with no
excess. Legal expenses are included in our rent guarantees.
This policy can be offered to Letabox Landlords for just 2.5% + IPT
of the annual rent.
IPT (Insurance Premium Tax, which is currently 5%)
